There's another new flavor of warranty info, just fyi: said, when you look at that server (the one with the error in inventoryagent.log), in wmi, are there instances (or the class at all) in rootcimv2 for WarrantyInfo? Rootcimv2sms is the reporting class; but it looks to rootcimv2,Warrantyinfo for the actual data to report on.If there is nothing there, then the pre-requisite ps1 script hasn't run on that client yet, OR that machine, as itself, doesn't have rights to get through your firewall or other perimeter devices to ask dell for warranty info.Just a suggestion: you might want to look at forgetting Hinv, and using the 2nd powershell script only (Dell WarrantyInfoSQL.ps1). I must say I like the neatness of it; 1 script, run on a recurringbasis at the central.Standardize. Automate.Hi Sherry,I've followed the link carefull and created all the objects and advertised it to a single machine to test it with.
Despite an error message in execmgr.log which says Script for Package:LDN00011, Program: PS WarrantyInfo System 1 failed with exit code 1,when I check the WMI on the system, I can see the information is there. Now my problem is trying to import the report.mof files. I have copied both files to the c: drive of sccm server. When I right click to import and specify the location, it throws me an error saying The MOF file path and name are not valid. Path and filenames must be in the form c:pathname.mof or serverpathname.mof.
Type a valid path and file name.I have tried to export on of the existing reports and re-imported it and it worked. So it must be something inside these mof files?
