I’ve been fairly lucky up until this point. I have experienced bugs in quests, like the infamous Zmola bug and the Matthew & Fritz bug during “Gallows Brothers.” However, there’s always been a way around those bugs to make the quests progress. I’ve finally found a bug where I can say, with 100% certainty, my game is broken and without a patch I will not be able to continue.SPOILERSAfter talking to Matthias, the game would crash every time when I tried to enter Straw’s house. I tried this about 5 times before I decided to just bypass talking to him. I continued on with the quest normally after that. I talked to Nicodemus, made the cure and then went back.

I could now get into Straw’s house (that’s where Nicodemus goes to). I talked to Melichar, cured the town and thought I was in the clear. I talked to the bandit to finish the quest, and as soon as the dialog was over, boom, game crashed.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance Pestilence. Merhojed has been infected by a scourge and its residents need your help to stop it. Speak to the baliff. Speak to Melichar.

Loaded it up, tried again, same thing. So, yea, word of warning to anyone who hasn’t done this quest yet.Warhorse Studios, this just unacceptable. How can you be worried about putting in timed Easter-themed events (in a SP game no less), DLC and making the game harder when there are so many bugs that you’re lucky to complete a quest without any popping up?
