So I have a pretty beast computer, i7, SSD, 32GB Ram, GTX 970. My mods take forever to install or uninstall.

An armor mod will install in 10ish seconds, a bodyslide pack for that mod can take an additional 5-10 minutes depending. It's not file extraction time, I have unzipped these things just to test if that is the issue, no problem there. It's just the install and uninstall through NMM.Right now, I have been stuck uninstalling remodeled armor for UUNP for the past 25 minutes, it's about 30% complete.I don't know what else to try, everything else works perfectly, the game runs like butter, it's just this mod installation and removal that's killing me. I like to mess around and try different combinations, and this just stinks.Help, please.

Oh, I have been playing and modding since the beginning, I should know better than to use NMM anymore. I have been through countless bad updates. I have blown my data folder at least 10 times over the past 4 or 5 years. This latest time, not being able to uninstall the mods, was just the straw that broke the camels back.I have also used MO before, but always went back to NMM in the end. This time I'll try to stick with it and see if I can't make the most of it, maybe I'll actually keep a save through to the end.You weren't forcing me, it was good advice.
