I had and played the original Skyrim on the release date till I bought a PS4 early last year. The main reason I bought SE was because of the mods, but it was my fault I didn't research first and found out about the external assets thing till after I bought it (I do give a lot of credit to the modders who are able to still make the best mods they can with the limited Sony resources). I was wondering if there is anything stopping Bethesda from obtaining the rights to a mod like Beyond Skyrim? In the meantime I'm still playing it, but I am excited about new character/quest/location content that is coming with CC. Bethesda have explicitly said they won't use any mod that has already been in development before the CC was announced.

As all the Beyond Skyrim mods were in development before the CC was announced and none of the Beyond Skyrim team are working for the CC, there is little to no chance of any Beyond Skyrim releases coming to the CC.Anyway, Bethesda seem to favour really small mods rather than massive overhauls. Even the bigger stuff is quite small, in that the biggest thing the CC currently has planned is a dungeon. Legally speaking? Got no idea, but I would actually assume that it wouldn't be that difficult. Technically speaking, they did say that CC wasn't going to contain mods that have already been created, so in that sense Beyond Skyrim: Bruma isn't something that could show up there, but nothing would stop some of the other Beyond Skyrim works from showing up, based purely off that factor. But I do hope that we get something more interesting out of CC. I've been fairly disappointed with the general quality of what's come out (though I haven't played Survival Mode, and I've heard it's pretty good). Is the first bit of Survival Mode or just CC in general?Eh, I primarily play PS4 (have a friend with an Xbox so I play that from time to time) and just don't see the point in spending money on any of the cosmetic/weapon mods personally.

SM, that I can see the point in and will probably dish out some money, but something like Ruin's Edge? Not really as fond of that sort of thing costing anything.

For Xbox, wouldn't ever dish out money, to be honest, just think there are better free mods for everything that CC currently does.I was super pumped about the idea when it was first announced, but I was kind of expecting.more I guess.
